After earning his undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia in Athens, he attended medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. This is where he made the decision to follow his love for not just health care but his artistic and creative abilities.

Dr. Gerth’s comprehensive training includes Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology, both recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties. He has also completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as recognized by the American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery.
