David Rankin MD

Dr. Rankin is the Chief of Plastic Surgery at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Jupiter, Fl. He has more than 20 years of experience in the field. He practices a mix of trauma, reconstructive, and plastic procedures. His main specialty is in breast implant removal also known as an explant, and reconstructive procedures for accident victims. But he also dedicates his time to helping patients in need of hand and upper extremity surgery. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and he is currently a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, among several other local, state, and national societies and organizations. 

Dr. Rankin is currently on the staff of several hospitals in beautiful Jupiter, Florida. He is also the medical director and owner of his own private operation suite. He performs roughly 500 breast explant surgeries each year, providing personalized, attentive care to every patient that enters his office. He understands the importance of listening and communication, and he always works with his patients to understand their unique needs. To him, cosmetic and reconstructive procedures are a profound emotional journey, and his goal to is to see his patients through. That's why he won the 2020 Aesthetic Every Awards for Top Plastic Surgeon East and Top Aesthetic Doctor.
