Garrett Wirth MD

Dr. Wirth started his academic career by obtaining his master’s degree in physiology and cellular biology. He went on to attend medical school at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York and graduated in 1998. He stayed in Albany to serve as a resident in a general surgery program, before relocating to California and entering a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of California-Irvine. He continues to maintain a place there as Professor of Plastic Surgery (wos) at the Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery Institute. Since completing his education, he's spent much of his time devoted to research and teaching.

Dr. Wirth has been recognized for his innovation in the field of cosmetics. He is a regular speaker as conferences. He's been interviewed many times by media outlets, and he's written countless papers on various subjects in plastic surgery for both international and national journals. He's a member of numerous professional societies, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons(ASPS), International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons(ISAPS), California Society of Plastic Surgery, and the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgeons, as well as the Orange County Society of Plastic Surgery and the Wound Healing Society. He's also the co-inventor of the Internal Bra and the recipient of many awards in his field.
