Matthew Goodwin MD

Dr. Goodwin began his education journey by obtaining his undergraduate degree from Princeton University located in Princeton, NJ. He then went on to earn his Medical Degree from Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, CT. Following that, he completed his general surgery residency at Washington University, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis Children's Hospital, and the University of Minnesota. Additionally, he had a fellowship in breast reconstruction, microsurgery, and cosmetic surgery at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Additionally, he had a visiting international fellowship in microsurgical reconstruction at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Linkou, Taiwan.

Dr. Goodwin is a rare surgeon in Palm Beach County who provides high-end micro-surgical breast reconstruction services, such as the deep inferior epigastric perforator (DIEP) procedure and other implant and flap alternatives. Besides cosmetic surgeries of the breast and body, he also specializes in facial and eyelid rejuvenation, both surgical and non-invasive, skin cancer and Mohs reconstruction, and reconstruction of the face and body. He emphasizes the significance of post-operative scar management and provides counsel to his patients at Inspire to help them obtain their desired beauty with a holistic approach instead of only focusing on the outside. He accomplishes this by teaching his patients about the process, how to maintain the outcomes and the nutrition, supplements, and exercises that will best meet their aesthetic needs.
