After that, he completed his 5-year plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Ottawa, where he was appointed as the chief resident and certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC). Post-graduation, he received a Master’s degree in Applied Sciences (MASc) from Johns Hopkins University, focusing on patient safety and healthcare quality. Later, he went on to complete a fellowship at the prominent Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat, and Lenox Hill hospitals specializing in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery. He is highly passionate about his work.
