Richard Ha MD

Dr. Richard Ha has a practice in Plano, Texas, and is recognized as a plastic surgeon. He specializes in pediatric plastic and craniofacial surgery and has extensive experience in performing cleft lip and palate operations, ear restoration, treating craniosynostosis and other craniofacial anomalies, carrying out surgical interventions to correct jaw distraction for speech problems, facial reanimation for paralysis, reconstructing facial trauma, performing microsurgery, tissue expansion and dealing with birthmarks. He is an associate of the Pediatric Plastic Surgery Institute and is also the president of the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute.

Dr. Ha earned his undergraduate degree with high honors from Brown University and his medical degree from Indiana University. Subsequently, he had his general surgery, plastic surgery, and craniofacial fellowship training at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He is working as a Clinical Instructor for the UT Southwestern Department of Plastic Surgery, helping to teach students and fellows. Additionally, Dr. Ha is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association and is a part of several committees. He has published several articles on plastic and craniofacial surgery in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks and is a regular lecturer at courses and conferences across the country.
