Sugene Kim’s Journey

Dr. Kim attained her degree in molecular biophysics and biochemistry with great distinction from Yale University, which provided her with a solid foundation for her plastic surgery career. Later, she procured her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, NYU, and completed her general surgery residency at Georgetown University, where she was a chief administrative resident. She continued honing her surgical skills under the guidance of Dr. Berish Strauch, a reconstructive microsurgery expert at Montefiore Medical Center. Furthermore, she took her surgical proficiency to a higher level by undergoing cosmetic plastic surgery training with some of the leading cosmetic surgeons located on Park Avenue in New York City. 

Afterward, she moved to Houston to further her education in advanced breast reconstruction at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she has been bestowed the privilege of being a clinical fellow. Dr. Kim is committed to providing her patients with the safest and highest quality of care and treatment.
