Joshua Jacobson MD

At an early age, Dr. Jacobson was inspired by his mother's reconstructive surgery and the beneficial effect it had on her mental and physical health. This drove him to obtain his Bachelor's in Biochemistry at UCLA. He graduated Summa Cum Laude, moved to New York, and enrolled in Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He began pouring his efforts into studying and researching surgical techniques, eventually earning an M.D. Degree with Distinction for Research in Plastic Surgery. He graduated at the top 10% of his class, giving him the opportunity to join the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, a coveted position. 

Dr. Jacobson moved on to complete his residency at the Albert Einstein/Montefiore Medical Center. His performance was deemed exceptional enough that he was given the title of Education Chief Resident, allowing him to teach his junior colleagues. He is extraordinarily skilled in scar reduction with tummy tucks. He also specializes in Brazilian buttock lifts, ultrasound-assisted liposuction, mommy makeovers, facial procedures, and body contouring. An admitted perfectionist, he often spends his free time going over the results of previous surgeries in an attempt to better his technique, and he is always searching for ways to perfect the patient experience, furthering his goal of building a more cohesive doctor-patient dynamic.
